One step forward, two steps back,
Another review has already outlined all the games here, so I won’t bore you with another repititious list. The old faves are back, along with some new ones. And while the gameplay we all loved from the first is here in spades, something not so fun has crept into the fold.
Unfortunately, this game is plagued (may be a harsh word, but I find it appropriate) by bugs and errors that render some games unsolveable, and others just downright unplayable. Now, it’s not as bad as it may sound. I’ve only encounter 3-4 of these in 200 or so puzzles, but that doesn’t make it any less excusable.
I’m not sure why the reigns for this game were taken from Atari, or whether they gave them up willingly. The first game was flawless, in this regard, so I’m left to place the blame squarely on the publisher and/or developer. I suppose they figured that since the first was such a success, we’d all buy the game regardless of it’s quality. Well, I bought without any knowledge of the bugs, and while it’s still a good game (bugs and all) some people may not wish to shell out 20$ for it.
So to close, the game is still worth playing, if you can get by the fact you won’t be able to solve every puzzle. The amount of content that does work is certainly worth the $20, IMO, and if you liked the first, you’ll like this one. That said, whoever is responsible for the unfinished, buggy state of the game: Shame on you.

|Disappointment,
I devoured the first Puzzler game and was happy to see the second release was coming. I enjoy solving the puzzles in this new game, but would like it even more if they all worked. I’ve never encountered a DS game with so many errors. Didn’t anyone test the product before it went to production? In the perfect world, Nintendo would fix this game and resend to its customers (those it can track, that is). I feel duped.

|Problem with this game,
My name is Yvette and I bought two games of puzzler world 2 for my DSI XL. As me and my boyfriend were playing it we had a problem with two if the games. Puzzle 45 the bonus game one of the three world was miss spelled and we could not finish it. The spelling was TS LI TC NU TC ( IT SHOULD BE litchi NUTS)and we could not solve it. Also puzzler 82 does not load it only gets a black screen with the following message “UNKNOWN FONT TAG NOT MY ER ” We try several times. Does anybody notice that this game is now sold by Tommo and not UFO like it was originally??? I guess they want customers to think it is a new version of the junk they have out there. Shame on you!!!!!
