Great Pick Up and Play Game,
I am playing this game on my Nintendo DSi XL and the graphics are good enough to see all the cards clearly. The game is not difficult, not timed and perfect to play in short sittings. Also, for an inexpensive game, it’s very long so you get your money’s worth. I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

|Disappointed!,
I also own Jewel Quest Trio, and having become addicted to Jewel Quest Solitaire, I have to have this when it came out. The first Jewel Quest is the same as in Jewel Quest Trio, so I basically played it over. The second one does not follow the storyline of the first at all. I assumed playing them in order meant getting the whole story. Wrong. Quest II starts up with en entirely new story which you feel like you missed out of the first half of. The game play is not the same either. The game I got used to with on the Trio game isn’t there. The cards are played totally different. At first I didn’t like the change, but it’s come to grow on me… some. I don’t have a problem with my graphics, I will admit that the graphics on Quest II are aren’t as good as on Quest I, but they are still easy to read, etc. I finally got to Quest III and this is where I became really disappointed. Quest III also has a totally new storyline, although some of the characters are the same, they do not follow the previous storyline. While the other two were interesting, this one is boring. The card part is simple, plain solitaire. Nothing fancy, just more colors instead of basic red/black. That’s it! I was really hoping it would go back to the Tripeaks type of play, but alas, it did not. If I had known this, I would never have bought it. I will probably finish and and sell it. If you prefer the Tripeaks version, then this is not for you. If you like difference, buy it, it will keep you occupied and is challenging.
Examples:
Quest I: You try and make a chain of cards – K, A, K, Q, J, 10, 9, 8, 9…etc.
Quest II: Simple matching – A & K, 2 & 3, J & 10…etc.
Quest III: Plain jane solitaire!
Jewel Boards – the only challenge comes from matching your cards so you get 3 in a row of the same color jewels to help turn you spaces gold so you can clear the board easier. Also, to line up at least 3 gold coins to get free gold spaces.
Hope this review helps you make a decision on whether to spend and/or waste your money on this game. I recommend Jewel Quest Trio, you get more for your money.

|worst game ever,
This is my first review on Amazon ever, as I have never taken the time to write one. But this is the worst game I have purchased. I play puzzle games and card games, I am in no way a “GAMER”. I play to keep busy during the day or in the evening when my husband is channel surfing. I have Jewel Quest Trio for my DS and Solitaire was by far my favorite, I bought the Jewel Quest Trio II for the computer and was sooo excitied when I saw it was coming out on the DS. After playing Solitaire II for just a few minutes I was so frustrated at how slow it is, the graphics are awful, just the worst. I even checked to make sure my DS was updated thinking maybe that was the problem. I then opened Solitaire I and it worked and looked as great as in the first game card. I am going to move on to III and see if I havent completely wasted my money. I cant believe they would release such a crappy game!!!
