Boring,
It was the same type of game through the different levels. It was easy to beat and if you have more than one person playing it with a neopets account, the person who enters the master code is the only person who can unlock all of the virtual prizes.

|Neo-Addict disappointed,
The game is repetitive in a BIG way. I second what the other reviewer said, it IS the same thing over and over again (and again, and again, and again). It’s absolutely boring at times. It’s a lot of going back and forth, playing the same game/battle (which gets dull, quick), and it doesn’t help that the challenges are lacking. It’s nice to see the familiar characters, but they are the same exact images on Nopets and they aren’t animated, instead they “talk” in comic book form.
I bought this mostly for the codes and prizes for [...] . But why I am writing this is to let you know the text in the game is a nightmare. I couldn’t read it, at all, on my normal television, and I didn’t like that one bit. I wasn’t about to play the game blindly… what if I couldn’t read those sought after codes when they finally appeared? I thought it was the disc, so I exchanged it for another. I was reminded from where I purchased it that I cannot be refunded for an opened game, and that it was probably a bad disc as all Wii games are automatically formatted. It made sense since every other game I have has perfect text, so why not this game?
I suspected this was created to be played on a LCD screen TV. The second disc turned out to be just as bad as the first, and now I’m stuck with it so I took the next natural step and I called Capcom… twice, (first time they gave me some lame response, not much different from “tough luck” but worded friendlier) finally they said they’d get back to me about it in about ten minutes or so, right after they got an e-mail response from their game development department. That was 7 days ago, making it one of the longest 10 minutes I ever experienced.
I went to the Neopet boards (Charter *waves*) and it turns out LOTS of people say the text is bad, blurry for even those with HD TV’s. So I try it on a LCD screen HD TV (37″) and a miracle occurs, the text is visible! Now when it was suggested by me that it was created for a new TV Capcom denied it, but the proof is in the game. It seems I had gone on my own Neopets Puzzle Adventure just to get this thing working.
If you buy this just for the codes to play on an older TV, and it doesn’t matter if you cannot read the story, see which buttons to click, and cannot read which petpet or weapon is better for battle to buy, while straining your eyes until your head painfully throbs… then go for it. Otherwise, don’t bother. Try a different version (PC or DS). I enjoy Neopets, perhaps a bit too much, but this game is mostly frustration. I can’t wait to finish it and get rid of the thing. In addition, the guide isn’t very helpful, a lot is missing, especially assistance on unlocking codes. So yeah, not “awesomesauce” at all.
I give it 2 stars for the music, multiple characters/pets/petpets, familiar Neo-items, and bright colors. The game itself…
Oh and I WILL be calling Capcom again… and again.. and again. As much as I have to for this to be resolved. Maybe they’d like the bill for my new TV?

|Fun, but poor quality,
I enjoy this game, but the quality for this platform is a major disappointment.
-The text is painfully small and difficult to read.
-It frequently jerks and stutters when moving your character around.
-It takes AGES to load compared to other games. And this delay is present every time you move between menus or stages of game play.
This could have been so much better. Instead, it looks like something out of the ’80s.
