There are more fleshed out versions of Yahtzee but they also cost more.
Just some notes about this version of Yahtzee software:
I am running it on Vista and it works.
When installed, you can play regular Yahtzee but you need the CD inserted when playing the other four versions.
The Game Options are limited, you can only change sound and hint/advice options.
I can’t play full screen and it only shows the score card of the player in control of the dice.
Most of this is trivial since I paid VERY little for the game. My only real complaint is when you play the computer it will put its score(if it scored high enough) in the High Score section.

If you love the game of Yahtee, you will love this. There are 5 different Yahtee games to choose from, including the classic Yahtzee. My kids and I will play for hours!

I have to agree about the false advertising. I tried to install this system on three different systems (1 desktop/2 laptops) with Windows XP. All three are stable and work well. This game will not install on any on the systems even when following the setup tips in the readme files. After reading the readme files and looking at the file creation dates (1996) it is apparent that the game was written for Windows 3.1 and Windows 95. My copy is being returned to Amazon tomorrow.

Ultimate Yahtzee JC
Waited for over a week for delivery….Was excited when it arrived today. Then disappointed when there was NO gaming sound at all , not even music!!……(I’m running Dell, with huge amount of gaming power….and Windows XP)….
I Re-booted a few times, as instructions suggest…and Installed/Uninstalled four times….
STILL NOTHING….!!
I see now that this game was made in 1996…still no excuse!
If there HAD been sound I might have been able to overlook the really poor graphics…and game behavior….Guess the price was cheap enough….but c’mon….Where’s the sound?? Sending it back tomorrow…. =(

ok, so, i exagerate a LITTLE.
i can’t say anymore then has already been said, except that i do run Wndows XP SP3 and it loaded just fine. played a couple games and haven’t noticed any bugs or crashes.
there are several versions of the game on the disk and i have only plaed Triple Yahtzee and Calssic in my life time so i will have fun exploring the game and learning new rules.
this has always been a favorite game of mine and i am glad i now have it on my PC
I just wish there was a way to clear the high scores that are in there

I’ve tried the alternate games of Yahtzee, there are four of them, all needing the disk inserted. when i insert the CD ROM i can’t get past the promt asking for the CD. I can’t play anything other then the classic game on here. now it kinda sucks. still works though. oh boy
and still no way to clear the high scores in there
