We just got our pillow pet today and my daughter loves it. It measures to be the size stated on amazon. True, it is not a full sized pillow. There are 2 diffrent sizes of pillow pets. the 18″ pet and a smaller 11″ pet. The fabric is soft and seems like it will hold up well in washings.
The negative review that has been posted stated that the velcro closure does not work. However, they must have posted the review before investigating the toy. Because there is a soft flap of fabric that can be folded over and stick to the velcro so that when the pillow is open the velcro does not stick to everything it touches.(What a great idea!) So if you are going to velcro it closed you must move the flap of fabric out of the way and then it velcros closed just fine.
