The return of a long lost Clan . . .
Many moons ago, five warrior Clans shared the forest in peace. But as Twolegs encroached on the cats’ territories, the warriors of SkyClan were forced to abandon their home and try to forge a new life far away. Eventually, the Clan disbanded—forgotten by all until Firestar was sent on a quest to reunite its descendants and return SkyClan to its former glory.
Now, with Leafstar in place as leader, SkyClan is thriving. Leafstar is desperate to believe that her Clan will survive where the ancient SkyClan cats failed. But threats continue to plague the Clan, and as dissent grows from within, Leafstar must face the one question she dreads: Is SkyClan meant to survive?

As usual, I have been anticipating the Warriors book for such a long time. I was so excited to read it, and when I started I couldn’t take my eyes off the words. I have very high expectations of Erin Hunter’s writing, and she did not disappoint me! The central plot revolves around SkyClan, a lost clan that is rebuilt at a gorge by ThunderClan’s leader, Firestar. This book is filled with action, and I was lost inside of it myself. It is amazing, and to say that I loved it would be an understatement!

I am a big fan of the entire warriors series and have read every book to date except for the manga. This was a good book but it could have been better. For example, the big destiny for Skyclan promised in the beginning of the book, wasn’t that big. The book follows a clan with little trouble. The main antagonist isnt revealed until Stick, Shorty, Coal, and Cora have been with Skyclan for awhile, late in the book. My largest con is the ending. There isn’t a large event at the end of the book no big closer. Though I did enjoy reading it, I think that Erin Hunter could have made this book a bit better and made the ending better.

I am a big fan of the Warriors series and I have read all the books. I think this is one of the best ones to come out since Bluestars Prophecy. I really loved it. I hope they write more about other clans too.

erin hunter never disappoints. we finally get to see what happens to skyclan after firestar’s departure. bouncepaw, rockpaw, and tinypaw all got great warrior names. the part at the end with stick and red was brilliant.
